Glamping with kids and the whole family
Do you and your family love nature, but also love comfy beds, bathrooms, and climate control? You may be more of a glamping family than a camping family. Glamorous camping, or glamping, is a more realistic, and enjoyable, way to bring your family into nature. Glamping with kids can be much easier than camping, thanks to all the equipment that you get to leave at home!
The beautiful Colorado mountains offer the views and attractions, while we make it easy to enjoy with in-floor heating, evaporative coolers, and comfortable queen pillow top mattresses. After a day filled with fun and adventure you and your family can enjoy family luxury camping, where you can sit around the fire pit that you didn’t have to build from scratch!
Our family glamping tents even have Wifi and outlets, so feel free to bring your laptop and watch a movie before hitting the hay.

Family glamping tents pricing and availability
Family glamping in Colorado is not available year-round, but from May through mid-October. Glamping with kids is becoming popular here in Colorado, so we encourage you to reserve your tent early to secure your spot!
What you'll love about our cabins

More than just a fancy tent
Our family luxury camping tents are made with quality materials with your comfort in mind. You will find high quality canvas walls, screened windows, and beautiful concrete floors. They are available to rent early May through the middle of October.
Rustic charm in the lap of luxury

Your basecamp for family fun
When you’re not family luxury camping, it’s time to take your kids to explore the best of what the Colorado wilderness has to offer. Our glamping cabins are just minutes away from the Royal Gorge, the highest suspension bridge in America. Here you can enjoy all sorts of fun family entertainment.
Where you'll be
Our double queen glamping tents are located just outside of Cañon City, Colorado, close to the Arkansas River and Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. From your private patio take in panoramic views of the Sangre De Cristo mountains.
What should I bring on my glamping trip?
Do bring
Electronics
Every tent is equipped with electrical outlets and free Wi-Fi, so bring electronics if you’d like to snuggle up and watch a movie.
Coolers
Your own personal fridge to keep your drinks and food cold. Ice, snacks and food are available for purchase.
Bug Spray
Colorado has far fewer bugs than most places, but it's still a good idea to bring some spray, especially for evenings under the stars.
Don't bring
Pillows or blankets
We provide all of the linens and comfort that you’ll need.
Towels
We've got fresh, fluffy towels to keep you dry after a day of rafting or a good squirt gun battle.
Additional FAQs
What furnishings can I expect in Double Queen Glamping Tents?
Our Double Queen Glamping Tents feature two ultra comfy queen beds with pillows, linens, and warm comforters. Each tent also includes night stands, a desk and chair, and two additional lounging chairs.Â
On the private patio is a table with chairs, as well as a camp fire ring with furniture grade stumps for seating.
Is the tent climate controlled?
Yes, to a point. Glamping is still camping! Each tent includes an evaporative cooler for summer cooling. During early and late season the in-floor radiant heat is functional to take the chill off inside the tent. These modes of climate control do not allow for precise temperature control similar to hotel rooms, so look at the weather forecast and plan for warm days and cool evenings.
What other amenities are available?
Our glamping tents offer included WiFi, multiple electrical outlets and lighting, a drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee roasted locally, towels for use in the shower house, and 24 hour access to the shared shower house with bathrooms and flush toilets. Tents do not include an in-room bathroom or running water. Also, there is no television – it’s still camping – so feel free to bring your devices to stream a movie.
How far away is the shower house and bathrooms?
The furthest tent is no more than 400 feet from the shared shower house and bathrooms. You’ll have 24 hour access to these amenities by using a keycard made available at check-in. Showers are available and included for all glamping guests.
How does the complimentary fire kit work?
Each night you stay with us we deliver a camp fire kit which includes firewood, kindling and a fire starter kit to make it easy for our glampers to build and enjoy a fire. The wood we provide will usually allow for a campfire lasting a couple of hours. Additional wood can be purchased on-site when our lodging office is open. You are welcome to bring your own wood, too, if you prefer.
If there's a fire ban can we still have a fire?
Unfortunately, no. Occasionally we do see times when we are under mandatory fire restrictions by the county. We will notify you on the day of your arrival if fire restrictions exist. For certain fire restrictions, we are still allowed to fire up our group gas fire pit that all glamping guests are able to enjoy. In the event of extreme fire danger absolutely no open flames are allowed; this could include the gas fire pit.
