How much 'roughing it' is involved with the Glamping Tents?
Our Glamping Tents are quite comfortable with high quality mattresses, linens and pillows. You’ll also find an evaporative cooler for summer cooling, multiple power outlets, and lighting.
However, this is still camping! There is no running water and no bathroom in the tents. Our shower house with hot showers and flush toilets is open 24 hours a day, and is located from 100 to 350 feet away from the Glamping tents.
Although our climate here is fairly dry we still see some insects, so bringing along insect repellent is a good idea. Also, the pesky bugs will fly into your tent if you leave doors open. Remember, you’re still camping – just in a slightly more glamorous style than the days of old!
Is Wi-Fi available?
Absolutely. Each cabin has it’s own dedicated high speed Wi-Fi. Directions to access Wi-Fi are provided inside the cabins.
Are pets allowed?
We allow one well behaved dog in our dog friendly cabins. Maximum weight of allowed dogs is 70 pounds. Cost is $75 per night, and your dog must be registered when making the reservation. We do not allow any other types of pets. There is a pet boarding facility about a mile from the cabins. Eight Mile Ranch pet boarding can be reached at 719-275-2035.
How late can I check in?
As late as you want! We operate our lodging stays much like a short term rental. Provided that you complete your lodging registration form sent to you as soon as we receive your reservation, you will be sent check-in info on the day of your arrival. Our reservations office is open Monday through Saturday year around, and we are open 7 days a week during the summer travel season from late May through early September. Our reservation center hours of operation are generally 9 AM to 5 PM.
